MIDSUMMERs EVE

CONNECTION to the SUN and EARTH

I will begin to harvest the first of my magickal herbs since they are drenched at this time with the great power of the Sun

MIDSUMMER INCENSE

Sage
Mint
Basil
St John’s Wort
Sunflower
Mistletoe
Oak
Rue
Rowan
Fir
Mugwort

Select a few
Blend a couple
Choose just one

To burn on the Night of the Midsummer Eve

Tonight when all is at peace the day has set itself behind us and most have crawled into bed

Very quietly look outside in some of the most unusual places

For the Folklore of the Witches is that on the night of the Midsummer Eve it is a time when the Fairies abound in great numbersIf your lucky enough to see one talk to the fairy walk with it in alignment with your beliefs then don’t forget to sprinkle upon the earth a sweet treat

WITCHES RITUAL

On Midsummer Eve Witches bury their protective Amulets and begin to construct new ones

Rue
Rowan
Basil

Are the choice of herbs used to make a new protective Amulet

Tied together in gold cord string thread or cloth

And carried in their pocket everyday til the next Midsummer Eve in which that one will then be buried

As the Sun goes down tonight to honor the light of the Sun take a single candle any color will do and light it to burn through the night for the Sun shall be at its height of power upon the morning’s rising of the day of the Summer Solstice

You remind me of someone from my past. Are you familiar with Leilah Wendell from the state of LA?

I seem to get that every now and then that someone tells me I remind them of someone they know

Or I look like someone they know

…now how could that be 😉

Well, your rather spiritual/goth interest just rings a bell. I guess the name I tossed out is not familiar. Ok.. thanks. Sorry if I bothered. 🙂
